“Making memories and changing lives through the joy of Christian living.”
Summer Camp Program
Maywood Christian Camp operates nine weeks throughout the summer of each year. Each week of camp is directed by a man or group of men who have a great deal of love for youth and Christian camping. These men select a dedicated group of counselors and other support staff to operate the week of camp. Everyone works hard to help the campers have fun and, more importantly, encourage, motivate, and teach them to be better Christian young people.
Many of these weeks fill up early, so it is important for you to pre-register as soon as possible to assure you or your child can come to camp the desired week. Pricing and availability can be obtained through the camp administrator of the director.
Maywood Christian Camp offers its facilities to churches of Christ and groups associated with the Church of Christ, such as Christian student centers and social groups from our Christian schools and universities. MCC charges a very reasonable rate for the use of our facilities. All areas of the camp are open except the swimming pool.
Pricing and availability of the camp for retreats can be obtained through the camp administrator.
Maywood Christian Camp is overseen by a board of trustees. All are dedicated members of the Church of Christ who meet at least three times each year to discuss ideas and concerns and make decisions on the welfare of MCC.
In addition, each week of camp has a competent director or group of directors who plan and operate each week of camp.
There is also a camp administrator who oversees the day-to-day operations and business of the camp, as well as scheduling the camp for use by other groups.
It is the focused goal of the leadership and administration of Maywood Christian Camp to make sure every activity sponsored by MCC is done so in a spiritual way in which the truth of the gospel of Christ is not compromised.
