There have been several of you that have throughout the years requested general information concerning the camp, the child capacity, what to bring, etc. In order to help you and keep you better informed, we have added this page for your convenience.
Maywood Christian Camp is limited to about 250 campers each session. All weeks are available to campers of all ages and locations. Camp will close Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M. All campers MUST be gone before 10:00 A.M. Maywood Christian Camp does not discriminate upon the basis of sex, race, color, religion, national origin or handicapping condition.
There are LOTS of things to do during a week at Maywood Christian Camp, including:
- Bible Study
- Disc Golf
- Beach Volleyball
The staff are always looking for more creative ideas to help the campers have fun while growing closer to God.
The cost to attend one week of camp is $165.00. This fee includes EVERYTHING the camper needs at camp such as: food, crafts, canteen, insurance, etc. Campers may wish to bring extra money to buy a Maywood Shirt, Cap, or a Souvenir from the camp store.
A non-refundable deposit of $35.00 per child, per week, is required to register.

What to Bring
Each camper should bring a Bible, sheets (or sleeping bag), a pillow, towels, blanket, toilet articles, swimsuit, flashlight, and any other special equipment such as: ball gloves, camera, etc. All electronic devices, cell phones, ipods, video games, etc. are discouraged. No tobacco of any kind is allowed on campground.
If shorts are allowed, only knee length shorts are permitted at Maywood Christian Camp.
No excessively tight or low cut clothing are allowed. Modest apparel is expected of all campers. Parents please do not send clothing items that are not within these guidelines. Campers will get dirty. Please keep this in mind when packing for camp. Be sure to mark all personal items possible.
Special Rate for Staff
The Board of Trustees feel that personnel who work as staff should receive the following rates for their children: When parents are staff members, all of their children may attend at the reduced rate of $85.00 per child.
The camp permits campers ages 8 to 18. Children of staff members are sometimes allowed at a younger age. Contact the Director of the week you want your child to come if your child is younger than age 8.
A select group of teachers and counselors under the direction of capable directors will supervise the activities. In addition to a camp director, the staff includes a nurse, cooks, qualified lifeguards, crafts and athletic directors, and such special personnel as may be deemed necessary to maintain healthful, enjoyable, and spiritual conditions at all times.
When to Arrive
Registration begins each Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Camp closes at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Note to Visitors
We enjoy having visitors on the campgrounds. All visitors are required to check in at the Directors Hut on their arrival. Visitors to the camp are expected to follow camp rules and schedule. Please note our dress code and no tobacco rules. No visitors will be permitted on the camp grounds after 10:00 P.M. without permission from the Director.
